French toast stick dipped in syrup

Cake Batter French Toast Sticks

You know how sometimes you want .. a lot?  A lot of food?  A lot of flavor?  A lot of  hunger satisfaction?  Welcome to the Cake Batter French Toast sticks!  Ok so I know that intro was a bit corny but I honestly do wake up some mornings and I dont want a couple hard boiled eggs or a run of the mill breakfast!  I want something  delicious and decadent and reminiscent of the high fat, high sugar foods I used to eat .. darnit!

This will hit all those notes and then some!  But of course it will be easy on the waist line because we are committed to this dedicated WW lifestyle, right?  Right! Easy to make in one simple bowl, you can throw these satisfying french toast sticks together anytime.

4 french toast sticks on a plate

With 7 seven French Toast sticks being one serving, you can feel good about eating what feels like a lot! And these are so much better tasting that anything you could ever buy in the grocery store.  Plus you can add anything you want.  These are wonderful with a little cinnamon in the batter. Sometimes I do a strawberry puree and dip them in that.   If you can find Sugar Free blueberry syrup that is wonderful.  Play around  with different extracts like maple, vanilla, orange or almond!  They will take on a different favor everytime.  I will link many of these items in my Amazon store including my favorite superfine almond flour.  I cant wait to see what you come up with as well!

  3. If you don’t have almond flour can you use self rising flour?

  4. I made them but did not have the molds so i used silicon muffin cups. I made 6 and then made my banana bread in the other six. i will post a picture later on the facebook site.
