Creamy Tortellini and Peas

Tortellini in a creamy  pink sauce on WW? Did I read that right?  Yes ma’am!  You sure did!  You will think this came straight from your favorite Italian restaurant! But without all the fat, calories and high points of course!  This one is  so simple and is a perfect, satisfying lunch because it takes very little time to whip up!

One serving of the tortellini in a bowl

The key to creating the pink sauce effect is the Fat Free cream cheese. A can of plain tomato sauce is all you need as the base to melt the creamy cheese throughout  giving you that high end restaurant taste on your tongue! Well, and a few Italian spices.  You can whip this one up before  your favorite soaps come on OR make it the night before and store it in a meal prep container.  It will also freeze and reheat beautifully!

  1. Oh my Barrett….I cannot wait to make this!!! Thank you so much for the great recipes.

  2. How many ounces of tomato sauce for this recipe?

  3. I made this tonight. i reduced the pasta and added some shrimp this is delicious and a keeper thank you Barrett

  4. This was really good! I switched 2 TBSP of Italian seasoning for the 1 TBSP of basil and 1 TBSP oregano because I couldn’t find my oregano in the spice cabinet. I also used fresh spinach instead of peas because I didn’t have frozen peas. And I added 1/2 can of petite diced tomatoes, just because I like tomatoes. LOL Thanks for the recipe Barrett, it saved me from having to come up with something to cook after working and going to my WW meeti. Love watching your YouTube videos!

    • That is awesome! The sign of a good cook to make things their own!
