Taco Joe

Taco Joes are one of my families’ favorites!  It tasted like a sloppy Joe but with a hint of Mexican favors.  To me, it gives the old standby, Sloppy Joe, a little update.  And while we are at it, lets update it to be point friendly and help us hit our WW goals as well! I like to serve this on a 2 point bun.  My favorite is the Healthy Life Whole Wheat.  It can be a little tricky to find.  The Healthy Life Whole Wheat Hot Dog Buns, which are a little more readily available in my area and also 2 points, surely will work in a pinch! Hot Dog Joes anyone?  Hey!  Whatever gets it done!   Its the flavor that matters!

This recipe is VERY versatile!  Once you’ve tried it your WW life will change!  I love to put it over Spaghetti Squash and make Taco Boats with a little dollop of light Sour Cream or Non fat Greek Yogurt.  It’s also wonderful over a bed of iceberg lettuce and  a little Thousand Island Lite dressing.  You can even wrap it up into a burrito with an Ole Wellness wrap!

Another one of my FAVORITE ground beef recipes!

I promise you once you have had this it will feel the void for several night of the week and your family will not even know they are eating a healthy, flavorful WW meal! This is a comfort food everyone can get behind…but it wont add to your …. behind!

Sorry!  I had too!

      • Thanks for letting me know! The bottom cut off! It is 3 oz for one serving and that is 3 points on all plans. I do lean meat at 1 point per ounce. If you have a larger serving, plug it into your app. 5 ounces comes out to 6 points. WW rounds up. 🙂
